Sex and the City

This movie isn’t very good. I don’t say that because I am a guy and this is most definitely a “chick flick”. I say this because the movie is not that good. I will admit that I have watched the show in the past. I may have even watched all the seasons, I can’t remember. I know I did not watch the first movie, but now that I work at a movie theater, I had a chance to watch some of the second one. It was very bad. Jokes were forced and not that funny, the acting was just kind of blah, and the story was silly. Also, I don’t want to watch a movie about some well off people, men or women, who complain about trivial things. If you live in New York City you are most likely paying a pretty penny for rent. If you have two apartments and let one sit empty, yet furnished, in case you need it, you have some extra cash handy. If this is you, you suck, stop complaining. Enjoy your life, you can obviously do what you want and not worry about $$. Appreciate things.

Anyways. I was closing the theater last night, cleaning after every movie and staying until 1am, and one woman was watching Sex and the City. Only one. That just made waiting for her more unbearable. I would rather something like 10 people in the theater. One person just seems unnecessary. Thankfully she was a clean lady and I didn’t have to pick up much. Perhaps tonight when I close nobody will watch it. I can only hope.
