Last night the Nightmare on Elm Street opened, or rather this morning it opened. We had a 12:01am and a 12:02am showing (I believe we eventually opened up two more showings of it). My side of the theater had two of the showings, the first ones, and thus had the first lines. I actually had a guy start one of the lines at 9:15pm. He was really eager to see this movie. And he was a chatty Cathy too. Kept asking questions about my favorite movies, ones I am looking forward to, and other random things. It was a nice distraction, but a little odd too. After a while a second line formed, and grew quickly. It was a nice change of pace from normal work evenings on podium A.
